Race No. 1 Josh Berry opened the third week of racing at Southern National Motorsports Park similar to the way he ended the previous event. The 22-year-old driver advanced forward from his seventh-place starting position to take third in the opening 20 laps. From there, Berry held off challenges from veteran driver Tommy Lemons to take third in the night’s first 100 lap race. For Reid Lanpher, the night began with the Manchester, Maine-native earning a career-best fifth-place qualifying position.
